About TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4):
TB-500 is a synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide made up of 43 amino acids. Thymosin Beta-4 is produced in the thymus gland and plays a crucial role in immune system function by promoting T cell production.
Preclinical studies in animals have demonstrated that Thymosin Beta-4 can enhance blood vessel growth, support wound healing, reduce inflammation, and minimize oxidative stress. It plays a critical role in tissue protection and regeneration, as well as the remodeling of damaged tissues. Ongoing research is also exploring its potential in anti-aging applications.
Additionally, Thymosin Beta-4 contributes to the development of B cells into antibody-producing plasma cells. As the most abundant form of thymosin, it functions as an actin-binding protein, which is essential for maintaining cell structure and mobility.
Reported research benefits of TB-500 include:
-
Stimulating tissue repair
-
Increasing cellular activity in healing processes
-
